Maya Publishing Group debuted on the US publishing market in 2000. Our goal is to be an innovative organization in the publishing industry, geared toward disseminating news and entertainment with impeccable quality, honesty and objectivity.

From the beginning, the objectives included attracting Hispanic readers and fulfilling the need of media planners to be able to quickly and more effectively reach the various spheres that make up the local Hispanic market, which currently far exceeds 46 million people.

When Maya Publishing Group launched its first title, it quickly met with success with its target audience, the female public. TVnotas USA became a big weekly hit and is currently the only weekly magazine with as excellent editorial quality as Mexico's TVnotas, the leading magazine among local media focused on the world of show business and entertainment.

Then, in 2007, H para hombres and H Extremo were launched. Both magazines target a male segment that is financially well-off and very demanding. Both titles have experienced vertiginous, solid growth in just the two and a half years since their launch.

In 2008, a new title was added to the Maya Publishing Group family, the magazine Récord Semanario de Fútbol. The leader of its kind, this magazine targets the multitudes of male soccer fans, who have a huge presence in the Hispanic public, but who at the time had no weekly soccer magazine with these features. With the World Cup in South Africa, we are sure that 2010 will be a global year for us.

In spite of the economic crisis that has impacted the media, and especially the publishing industry, so heavily, Maya Publishing Group has demonstrated its solidity and commitment to the Hispanic market, thanks to the support from our readers and our advertisers, who year after year have recognized the evolution and editorial and photographic quality of our titles.

Notmusa, a subsidiary of Maya Publishing Group headquartered in Mexico, is one of the largest publishing companies in Latin America, and it is proud to have completed this new phase of growth, which has been characteristic of it for more than the past 51 years.
